Goals of the Uplift Academy
The Uplift Academy seeks to use networks to systematically discover what's working to make the world a better place, and how to do more of it. This approach is heavily influenced by Appreciative Inquiry and Positive Psychology. It is particularly focused on the Transformational Sector - activities and approaches that involve transformation of the individual, in contrast to the Transactional Sector, which deals with that which is measured by specific transactions. Transformational activities include health, education, international development, for example.
